Invest in Your Child's Future
David Emanuel Academy is an independent, non-profit, coeducational institution in Stillmore, Georgia. Our historical 17 acre campus encompasses administrative, high, middle, elementary, and primary school buildings, a gymnasium with a stage, football/soccer and softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, and multiple playgrounds. During the 2022-2023 school year, the Eagles were proud to begin the first stage of campus expansion.
DEA fosters close communication among faculty, parents, and students. The safe, nurturing family atmosphere is a cornerstone of our philosophy and success. We are proud of the fact that all of our students are housed on the same campus and can interact during the school day. In this way, older students learn to feel responsible for the well-being of the younger students and the younger students feel as though they have many older brothers and sisters. Our students reside within five of the surrounding counties and DEA maintains bus routes to accommodate those who desire assistance with transportation.
As a liberal arts institution, we educate the whole child, encouraging our students to explore all of their talents and interests. In addition to superior academics, DEA supports extracurricular activities that include 16 sports teams, plus many literary and performing arts classes and events. Both athletic and literary teams have been consistently successful and have provided the student body with opportunities for physical conditioning, leadership building, personal expression, artistic development, and teamwork. Our students are involved in community service activities through various charitable organizations, toy and canned food drives, and other service programs.

Admission Criteria
Admission into David Emanuel Academy is based upon multiple criteria including (but not limited to) the following:
- The age of the student and vacancies in a particular grade
- Parent/child interview with teachers and/or administrators
- Student transcript including grades, standardized tests, and discipline records
- References from current and/or previous teachers and administrators
DEA discourages the transfer of students who have failed a subject(s) that would result in being off-track for graduation or who are not currently on a college-prep track. The administration has the prerogative of accepting students on a probationary status for a specific length of time (9 weeks, semester, and year) due to academic performance or behavior.
Continued enrollment for any student is based on acceptable academic and disciplinary standing. The school reserves the right to refuse admittance, or to dismiss any student who has an academic or conduct record which is not in keeping with the school’s mission and standards.
David Emanuel Academy accepts applicants throughout the school year. For information on availability of places, contact the school office at (912) 562-4405 or (912) 685-2456.
